The Council reviewed and approved several Development Variance Permits (DVP) and Form and Character Development Permits (DP) for residential and commercial projects, notably approving variances for parking space length reductions (4.5m) in Thetis Vale Phase 6 and 7, conditional on restrictive covenants. Council also approved a long-term agreement with Lifecycles Project Society for Welland Legacy Park, and granted an extension for the Choices Transitional Home at 94 Talcott Road until March 31, 2017, conditional on security measures and the requirement for a rezoning application.
