Average Grade Calculation

The following calculations determine the average natural grade based on the perimeter segments of the building footprint and their respective corner elevations:

Perimeter Segment Elevation Averaging Wall Length (m) Calculated Value
Segment 1 (23.1 + 24.1) / 2 * 19.5 460.2
Segment 2 (24.1 + 21.6) / 2 * 24.7 564.4
Segment 3 (21.6 + 21.8) / 2 * 25.0 542.5
Segment 4 (21.8 + 18.2) / 2 * 19.5 390.0
Segment 5 (18.2 + 17.5) / 2 * 44.5 794.3
Segment 6 (17.5 + 23.1) / 2 * 44.3 899.3

Final Average Natural Grade Calculation:

(460.2 + 564.4 + 542.5 + 390.0 + 794.3 + 899.3) / (19.5 + 24.7 + 25.0 + 19.5 + 44.5 + 44.3) = 20.56 Average Natural Grade

Site Plan Summary

The technical drawing, labeled "Average Natural Grade," provides a detailed layout of the building footprint:

  • Perimeter Wall Lengths: 19.5m, 24.7m, 25.0m, 19.5m, 44.5m, and 44.3m.
  • Spot Elevations: *23.1m, *24.1m, *21.6m, *21.8m, *18.2m, and *17.5m.

The calculated result of 20.56 represents the Average Natural Grade for the project site.
