Flow Control Manhole (FCMH 1) Detail (NTS)

  • Cover, frame & grated lid for H20 loading. Set to grade with maximum three (3) courses of new concrete bricks.
  • 1200mm manhole barrel (ladder removed for clarity).
  • 200mm overflow capped at top.
  • PVC outlet to municipal drain.
  • 300mm sump.
  • Cap c/w restrictive orifice.

Storm Water Management Detail (NTS)

  • Finished ground (see landscape drawings for planting details).
  • Frame and grated lid.
  • 1050mm manhole barrel (ladder removed for clarity).
  • 600mm inlet/outlet.
  • 600mm ultramag PVC 150mm of 19mm minus clean crush.
  • 150mm PVC DR28.
  • Wrap units with geotextile filter fabric and 30mil polyethylene liner.
  • Stormwater management chambers.

Double Check Detector Assembly Chamber (NTS)

  • Thrust plate 610x610x9.5mm (typ) fusion bonded epoxy-coated to AWWA C213 200mm SCH40 steel.
  • Concrete thrust block c/w 15M bars at 250 E.W. typical.
  • Volclay RX waterstop around opening watertight with non-shrink grout.
  • 150mm Watts Series 757 double check detector assembly.
  • USF fabrication access hatch model AHS 914x914 or approved alternate.
  • 150mm vent c/w bird screen.
  • 19mm diameter galv. ladder rungs at 300mm spacing c/w Bilco Ladd-Up safety post model no. LU1 (black enamel).
  • Epoxy coated steel-transition coupling (steel to PVC) same diameter as pipe.
  • Thrust ring (typ).
  • Min. 150mm compacted granular material.
  • Grinnell pipe supports or approved alternate.
  • 2 lifting brackets over each valve system.
  • Langley concrete 2122 vault c/w 250x250x150.5 sump or approved equal. Exterior to be damp-proofed with asphaltic emulsion.
  • Minimum 300mm compacted sand, all around chamber.
  • 100mm PVC DR28 drain c/w backflow preventer to municipal drain.
  • Romac DJ400 dismantling joint.
