  • Westshore RCMP Detachment Mayor’s Report from July – September 2015 THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Town write to the Chief Superintendent, Island District Commander, requesting that he attend a future in-camera meeting to discuss the status of the Westshore RCMP Inspector and/or that position. (COW-35-15)

  • West Shore Parks and Recreation Society 2016 Budget THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the West Shore Parks and Recreation Society 2016 Budget be approved. (COW-36-15) THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Town write to the West Shore Parks and Recreation Society to ask that the Society contact the Juan de Fuca Water Distribution Commission requesting that recreation facilities have decreased rates for water consumption given the significant impact to taxpayers. (COW-37-15)

  • 2016 Draft Budget Proposal for Restoration in View Royal Parks THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the 2016 draft budget proposal for restoration in View Royal Parks be deferred to the 2016 budget process. (COW-38-15)

  • Letter to Rear Admiral – CFB Esquimalt THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Town write to Rear Admiral Giles Couturier, CFB Esquimalt, requesting that the Town be informed in the future, when possible, of helicopter manoeuvres scheduled to take place at night to facilitate advance communication to View Royal residents via social media by the municipality.   • Potential for Rail in the McKenzie Interchange Project THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the Town write to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure requesting that the McKenzie Interchange Project provide both current and future transit needs (including light rail transit). (COW-40-15)
