As the owner of 305 Beaumont Ave, I would like to express my concern about the height of the new residence at the above mentioned address. While I like the idea of one residence (not two for that location) and the retention of the mature firs, the proposed building will be located close to the north (Kerwood) side of the lot but higher up the slope than the old one. See pictures. Without blasting down into the rock, the house would be higher than the newer (Burke) house three lots over. Thus the loss of harbour views from the residences to the north. Going lower would not impact the view from the 275 Kerwood residence. Thank you for your consideration.
