Good Day Councillor Brown,
I just wanted to provide an update on our patrols.
I was forwarded this email last week. I’ve been in the area at random times to conduct speed enforcement on Chilco and also at the stop sign at Six Mile Rd.
In the times that I have been on Chilco, there is minimal traffic. I typically spend 20-30 minutes and have yet to actually write a violation ticket for speeding. We have received a few complaints regarding the driving in that area over the last year or so.
We will continue to stop by when time permits and members are available. Most times residents don’t even realize we were there so it appears like we don’t come by.

Council has received some complaints about speeders on Chilco Road. We discussed this at our meeting last night and it was suggested I contact you and see if the Speed Watch volunteers could do a couple of operations there and share their results with us.
