5.16	How have residents and community stakeholders been involved in the planning and design process? Describe in detail:	Two neighbourhood meetings were held before the rezoning application submission. These meetings introduced ourselves and our ideas for the site and collaborated with neighbours to evolve the proposed development to what they could embrace. This was done in concert with the planning and engineering departments of View Royal to ensure all ideas were considered and incorporated where possible. There is a third meeting scheduled with the neighbours for June 6th, prior to the COW, to update the neighbours on the evolution to date and what has been applied for, to solicit comments and answer any questions.
5.17	Is there something unique or innovative about your project that has not been addressed in this checklist (e.g., creation of a new zone, other descriptors)?	YES Describe: The project is providing much-needed rental housing on under-utilized land along a transit line and adjacent to the future town centre
