Details of Presentation: Peninsula Streams and Shorelines and Pacific Salmon Foundation are requesting a Letter of Support for an application to the Feds for Nature Based Solutions program Funding. This funding will be used to develop Nature Based Development guidance tools for communities. Specifically, Marsh restoration works presented to council in March 2023 could be funded. Though closely aligned, some of these works are outside of the park management plan and either amendements to the park plan or project scope would be needed at a later date. Inkind support from the town is also requested.
