Old Business
- Covid19: We are operating at a much lower capacity due to Covid. Volunteers are using masks, hand sanitizer, and sanitizing wipes on surfaces.
- There is no pressure for volunteers to come in, but all are willing and, so far, able.
- Christine has completed training with the new Library Management System, Accessit. She is inputting the books as quickly as possible.
- Overdues: Our most delinquent patron has returned most of her books. It is suspected that one of the books was returned to the public library in error.
New Business
- Proposal to apply for the Grant-in-Aid from Town of View Royal. Moved: Christine. Second: Jill. All in favour.
- We are mourning the loss of longtime volunteer Camilla Smith, who passed on November 13. Her obituary is posted in the library.
- We need to promote Smile Cards. We have not received any donations from Thrifty's lately. May be due to Covid.
- We need to have a volunteer drive to fill in shifts, and to increase our list of spares.
Meeting adjourned at 12:55 pm. Next meeting will be Friday, March 19 at 11:30 am.
