Parking on Jedburgh road

Subject: Parking on Jedburgh road
Hello,
I am writing today to bring your attention to a parking problem in View Royal.
Parking in Jedburgh Road has become a huge problem since the new development went in on “headstone place”. When they put in the development they did not put in parking.
Every house has an upstairs suite which is filled with either tenants or bed and breakfast guests.
There is not enough parking to accommodate the development and the pre-existing longer term houses on the street.
I would like to ask that the city of view royal look into this situation and offer some solutions; such as creating a guest parking area for the development, making the parking on jedburgh road resident only, making sure that no one has used the boulevard as an entrance to their own personal parking and consideration given to allowing cars to park on an angle so that more spaces are created.
I am not sure what else might be done but I do know that the problem is not going away and seems to be getting worse.
Thank you in advance for looking into this matter.

Mayor and Council,
I am unable to see any requirement for a retaining wall in the submitted material associated with this project.
The large size of the retaining wall appears to be more of a request for a landscape feature than a real need for a retaining wall in this Development Variance Application Area Plan.
Thank you for considering my submission.
Sincerely
Peter.
