6 MILE BIKE LANE EXTENTSION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In 2021 bike lanes were painted as part of the Chilco 4 way stop project but these suddenly ends, increasing car/bike conflicts. To ensure cycling safety to / from the E&N / GGT corridor, the bike lanes should be painted down to Atkins Road. This would be integrated with both the 6 Mile Roundabout AND widening underneath the E&N trestle. This also ensures proper sidewalks on both sides of 6 Mile are finally done as well
