Build a playground along the edge of the CRD water main. The water main ROW is a great pedestrian corridor to / from the park. Consideration also given to a portable toilet??

Game Road Park
ANTICIPATED COST (IF KNOWN)
$350k - $500k (similar to View Royal / Centennial parks). Community Amenity funds are most appropriate since this is NOT in the Town’s Parks Master Plan and does not quality for DCCs / reserves.. Should also minimize impact on casino.
PREFERRED YEAR OF IMPLEMENTATION
Begin 2022 and complete in 2023

The area has had significant development and much more homes/ children are coming. We cannot rely on school playgrounds. The proposed playgrounds for 7 and 9 Erskine prohibit residential use. We do not have to wait for 7 and 9 CACs to begin this project.
