Hi Kim,

also for next CoW.

I am proposing the Town provide a grant of $300 to each VR resident with an oil furnace when they install a heat pump as the main source of heating for their home. This is for this fiscal year so it would take a budget amendment. The grant would be limited to the first 20 individuals submitting requests along with proof of purchase (copy method used by some of our adjacent municipalities, e.g., Colwood and Esquimalt). The add to budget would therefore be limited to $6000 this fiscal.
