Re: 9 Erskine Lane – Temporary Use Permit at 2 Hospital Way

This letter details the request of a Temporary Use Permit from the Town of View Royal to provide a parking area specifically for the site staff at our nearby construction project located at 9 Erskine Lane. This area is denoted by the enclosed Appendix A in this application and shown as reference in Figure 1.

Figure 1- Proposed Parking Area

The existing site has some uneven areas that WestUrban will level and subsequently place gravel across the entire site. This will provide an adequate parking surface that keeps the vehicles clean leaving the site along with ensuring that the subbase is sufficient for the intended use throughout the duration of the project.

Our goal in securing this area for dedicated staff/site parking is to eliminate any of our site staff from parking on the nearby streets and disturbing the residences whom utilize the roadways in the adjacent developments. Concentrating all of these vehicles will prevent any unwanted congestion from infiltrating the arteries in and around our development site which we strongly believe best serves the community of people who live in View Royal.

This proposed area will be secured and monitored by our staff daily to ensure there is no unintended users of the parking area by way of a locked gate at the entrance off of 2 Hospital Way. It will be under the strictest of oversight as the vehicles accessing this property need to be either a WestUrban employee, a subtrade, consultant, or associated directly with the construction project located at 9 Erskine Lane.

I welcome any additional questions as it relates to the approval of a Temporary Use Permit issuance from the Town of View Royal.

Sincerely, WESTURBAN DEVELOPMENTS LTD.

Amanda Shyiak Project Manager
