Good day,
I would like to inquire about construction of a noise barrier north and south of Hwy 1 in order to align with current provincial policy that addresses mitigating noise impact from new and upgraded numbered highways.
Over the past 2 years traffic during the day and at night has increased, causing difficulties to sleep at night. I have to close my windows and put on a noise maker to be able to sleep.
What is currently used as a noise barrier on Hwy near Chilco and Lund is made of plastic and does nothing to block the noise.
This is a concern for many residents in that part of View Royal.
Please, this needs to be addressed soo.
