Address: 62, KINGHAM PLACE

  1. Generally speaking, are you in favour of marking/delineating public spaces to make residents aware of water access locations (circle appropriate response) with the Town of View Royal?

Yes / No (No is circled)

COMMENTS: ALTHOUGH SHOWN ON THE MAPS, THE REALITY IS THAT NONE OF THEM ACTUALLY PROVIDE WATER ACCESS. IN ADDITION PARKING IS AN ISSUE IN THE AREA. FINALLY THE LIKELIHOOD IS THAT ADVERTISING THESE AREAS WILL JUST ATTRACT KIDS TO HANG OUT, AND WORSE

  1. Are you in favour of marking/delineating water access to Polly Place:

Yes / No (No is circled)

COMMENTS: POLLY PLACE IS A PARTICULAR EXAMPLE, IN THAT IT IS A VERY POOR APPROACH TO THE WATER. IT IS BLOCKED BY MATURE TREES, AND A LARGE ROCK. ALSO FOR MOST OF THE SUMMER DAYS THERE IS ONLY MUD, AS THE TIDE IS A LONG WAY OUT.

IF THE COUNCIL IS SERIOUS ABOUT PROVIDING ACTUAL WATER ACCESS, THEN IT SHOULD LOOK AT THE RECENTLY ACQUIRED PARK BORDERING THE HIGHWAY.
