Public Space Survey Response - L. Johnston

November 8, 2022Page 3461 section

Survey response from L. Johnston noting the passage is too confined and a waste of taxpayer money to sign.

7.a-f CORRESPONDENCE (Re: Advisory Committees and Vehicle Replacement Policy)
54 Kingham Place

Name (optional): L. Johnston

Address: 54 KINGHAM PLACE

  1. Generally speaking, are you in favour of marking/delineating public spaces to make residents aware of water access locations (circle appropriate response) with the Town of View Royal?

Yes/No

COMMENTS: In instances where the Right of Way is Open and developed enough so as to be 'Public' at all times & not hidden between houses & Foliage.

  1. Are you in favour of marking/delineating water access to Polly Place:

Yes/No

COMMENTS: This is a very confined passage between private property leading down to the mudflats. There is no particular reason to go there. Therefore making this a public destination spot is redicules & a waste of taxpayers (MY) Money to erect signs. It's good just the way it is.

As it stands now, deterring parking at the ball field has forced more & more cars further into the neighbourhood.
