Purpose
To bring forward a revamped bylaw that regulates the Town’s Protected Trees

Background
Incorporated changes discussed in May, 2021:
- Amended list of protected trees
- Removal of significant trees
- Amended pruning regulations - 10cm by certified arborist
- Amended emergency removal period - 24 hrs
- Amended watercourse - 30m
- Amended penalties – fines up to $50,000
- Reduced maintenance Period - 1 Year
- Removal of building envelope exemption
- Add priority processing and re-visit fees ($100)
- Increase cash-in-lieu to $500
