“Community Gardens” in View Royal Park
Mayor and Council,
I understand you have included a sum of $18,000.00 in the budget to cover proposed costs of installing a fence around the Community Gardens in View Royal Park.
This will remove yet more park land from public use to the benefit no more than 30 residents and is expensive beyond belief.
I walk at the park every day and have done so for ten years. One could not help but notice the number of workers and equipment employed on the project, nor the length of time it took to complete. I have not yet heard the total cost to date but cringe at the thought.
I am continually amazed at the cavalier way Council sees fit to spend tax payers' money.
