Mayor Hill called the meeting to order at 7:01 p.m.

The Mayor noted he had attended a Westside communities’ meeting regarding sewage treatment. He also noted that the Capital Regional District is asking municipalities to submit potential sites for a liquid waste management treatment plant location.

C-95-14 THAT the more northerly trail connection project in Portage Park to the E&N Rail Trail, identified in and funded with $3,000.00 in the 2014 budget, not be undertaken and instead be replaced by and funds reallocated to a new, more southerly trail connection project in Portage Park that is approximately sixty metres in length and two metres in width. CARRIED

THAT the Town of View Royal reconfirm its support for a Capital Regional District (CRD) liquid waste management plan that encompasses the original seven partners;
AND FURTHER THAT should the Westside communities provide a proposal that is supported by the CRD, that the Town of View Royal evaluate its options at that time. CARRIED

AND THAT Bylaw No. 894 (Land Use Bylaw, 1990, No. 35 amendment) be forwarded to Council for consideration of first and second readings and subsequently referred to the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure;
