Mayor Tobias called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

4. MAYOR’S REPORT
The Mayor noted that the Province of British Columbia passed Bill 7: Municipalities Enabling and Validating Act and Bill 15: Infrastructure Projects Streaming Act; he and Councillor Lemon attended the June 2, 2025 Official Community Plan Review Advisory Committee meeting; and he has an upcoming interview on CFAX radio regarding housing.

a) Development Variance Permit No. 2025-01 – 21 Tovey Crescent
- Report dated April 14, 2025 from the Community Planner
The Community Planner gave a summary of the report to Council.

C-97-25 THAT staff proceed with the public notification process for Development Variance Permit No. 2025-01 for 21 Tovey Crescent, subject to:
a. Proposed development meeting all of the Town’s Zoning Bylaw requirements, except for the following variance:
i. Decrease the minimum lot size of a Level 3 Home Occupation from 1,000m² to 995m² to permit a Bed and Breakfast. CARRIED
b) 2025 Boulevard Maintenance Contract Award
- Report dated May 26, 2025 from the Deputy Director of Engineering
The Deputy Director of Engineering reviewed the report for Council.

C-98-25 THAT the 2025 Boulevard Contract be awarded to RLC Enterprize Ltd. in the amount of $142,376 (net of taxes) to include the provisional work as defined under Option 2 in the May 26, 2025 Deputy Director of Engineering’s report titled “2025 Boulevard Maintenance Contract Award”;
AND THAT the 2025-2029 Financial Plan be amended accordingly. CARRIED Mayor Tobias, Councillors MacKenzie and Mattson opposed
c) Electronic Records and Information Management Solution RFP Award
- Report dated May 14, 2025 from the Director of Corporate Administration and Records Coordinator/Archivist
