Hello to all
My name is Lynne Partel and I live in View Royal in the Gibraltar Bay neighbourhood. I have lived in View Royal since 1995 and have watched the town grow and change in some great ways. One of those ways is the effort View Royal makes to create wonderful parks and places to enjoy the outdoors…no mean feat when the town is bi-sected by major highways. I am writing about one of these outdoor spaces.
I would like the Mayor and Council of the Town of View Royal to support the proposal from the residents of Gibraltar Bay to share the cost of replacing the Gazebo overlooking Price Bay. The Gazebo must be replaced and it would be good to replace it with an attractive and viable option to provide a seating and viewing area for the public. This spot is iconic for View Royal and many people enjoy a visit to it. The Gibraltar Bay Strata has come up with a workable proposal and I understand the Mayor and Council will consider it at the meeting on November 5. As I cannot attend on that evening, please accept this email as my support for the project.
