Details of item to be added: That View Royal request BC Transit make substantial scheduling changes to Route #46 (Westhills to Dockyard) to serve TODAY'S increasing needs for View Royal, Songhees, and Esquimalt First Nations residents. This is major gap in the area Active Transportation Plan for services and amenities. The youth (11-18) needs timely, convenient access to the popular Westshore youth drop-in activities and all the amazing sports and programs. Walking and cycling at night and bad weather is neither convenient or safe for them. This route must change now for ALL commuters, all days, young and old, not just limited weekday rush hours for DND / dockyard personnel. (provide additional information as an attachment if required)
