Details of item to be added: MOTION: that staff be directed to ensure the HAZARD FALLING ROCK safety concerns be part of MoTH the current Bus Shoulder Project currently underway along the Island Highway. This is with the MoTH right of way. Because of this barrier structure the sidewalk width is substandard and it presents a psychological deterrence for resident transit use. The timing and costs to repair / stabilize the slope should be addressed ASAP which the right resources are there. This is consistent with Active Transportation requires to remove barriers.
