1. CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Hill called the Public Hearing to order at 7:45 p.m.

THAT the agenda be approved as presented. CARRIED

3. PUBLIC HEARING

a) Statement of Public Hearing Procedure Mayor Hill made a brief statement regarding the procedures for public hearings and indicated that would be a combined public hearing for View Royal Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 811, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 834, 2012 and Land Use Bylaw, 1990, No. 35, Amendment Bylaw No. 833, 2012.

b) Statement of Publication of Public Hearing The Planning Technician advised that the notice which advertised the Public Hearing was posted on the Notice Board at the Municipal Office on June 22, 2012. The Notice was also advertised in two consecutive issues of a newspaper being the Goldstream Gazette on Wednesday June 27, 2012 and Friday June 29, 2012. A total of 190 notices were mailed on June 22, 2012 to owners and residents of land located within a 100m radius of the subject property.

a) View Royal Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 811, 2011, Amendment Bylaw No. 834, 2012 A Bylaw to Amend the Official Community Plan with Respect to the Designation of 1930 Valley View Place, Wilfert Park, Welland Legacy Park, and Northwest Portion of Thetis Lake Park
