- Report dated August 31, 2017 from the Director of Corporate Administration (Pg. 17 - 20)
Staff Recommendation:
THAT, pursuant to Section 58(1) and (2) of the Local Government Act, Kenneth Lyle Schaalje be appointed Chief Election Officer for conducting the 2017 by-election with power to appoint other election officials as required for the administration and conduct of the 2017 by-election;
AND THAT Marion Bernice Villines and Elena Bertina Bolster be appointed Deputy Chief Election Officers for the 2017 by-election;
AND FURTHER THAT all 2017 by-election voting be held at View Royal Town Hall Council Chambers.

Parks, Recreation and Environment Advisory Committee Motions - Update THAT the Committee recommend to Council that staff provide an update to the Parks, Recreation and Environment Advisory Committee on the status of the Eagle Creek Phase 2 Loop Trail;
AND THAT funding be provided by the developer to complete the Eagle Creek Phase 2 Loop Trail. (PREAC-09-17)
View Royal Urban Agriculture Project Five Year Plan Proposal THAT the Committee recommend to Council that the final draft of the View Royal Park Community Garden Society's Urban Agriculture Project's Five Year Plan be referred back to the Parks, Recreation and Environment Advisory Committee in September. (PREAC-10-17)
View Royal Park Master Plan THAT the Committee recommend that Council direct staff to investigate the cost and feasibility of installing a bike park in View Royal Park, similar to the bike park in Goldstream Provincial Park. (PREAC-11-17)
