A bylaw to update fees for subdivision applications, air space subdivisions, and phased strata plans.

A BYLAW TO AMEND FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 958, 2016
The Council of the Town of View Royal, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
CITATION
- This Bylaw may be cited as “Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 958, 2016, Amendment Bylaw No. 1015, 2019”.
AMENDMENTS
Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 958, 2016 is amended as follows:
a) Adding a row in the Development Services section between rows “Subdivision Application “ and “Final Approval of Subdivision” and inserting “Application for an Air Space Subdivision” and adding to the same row under “Fee”, “$10,000.00”;
b) Adding a row in the Development Services section between rows “Final Approval of Subdivision” and “Statement of Conditions Renewal or extension” and inserting “Final Approval of Air Space Subdivision” and adding to the same row under “Fee”, “$10,000.00 plus all legal costs associated with the preparation and review all documents to be registered”;
c) Adding row in the Development Services section between rows “Statement of Conditions Renewal or extension” and “Lot line adjustment” and inserting “Approval of a Phased Strata Plan; or amendment of a Phased Strata Plan (due upon Form P submission)” and adding to the same row under “Fee”, “$500.00” and to the same row under Fee Description “Per Phase”;
d) Delete amount in the Development Services section row for “Subdivision application” under the Fee column and insert “$2,200.00 + $100.00 per lot created”.
e) Delete amount in the Development Services section row for “Final Approval of Subdivision” under the Fee column and insert “$500.00 + $100.00 per lot created”.
f) In the Engineering section delete “Subdivision and Development – Servicing Agreement Security Deposits” and “Subdivision and Development - Design and Construction Requirements” in their entirety and insert the following:
| Subdivision and Development - Engineering Administration and Inspection fee | Fee | 4% of estimated cost of installation of required works and services. The minimum fee is $300 |
