The Mayor stated he has received several comments from residents on how wonderful the Town looks and thanked staff and Victoria Contracting.
As well, the Mayor noted the grand opening of bike pump track in View Royal Park will be held on September 14, 2019.

C-113-19 THAT MNP LLP be appointed as external auditors for View Royal for fiscal years 2019 through 2023 (inclusive);
AND THAT staff be authorized to execute a contract with MNP LLP for the provision of financial audit services for a total of $112,875 (exclusive of taxes) for the five-year term of the agreement. CARRIED

THAT the portion of the 2019 grants in aid list pertaining to the Greater Victoria Crossing Guards Association approved at the March 19, 2019 Council meeting (C-42-19) be replaced with:
“Greater Victoria Crossing Guards Association - $14,000 to support the school crossing guard program in the Town from September to December 2019 and that the Association be requested to modify future grain in aid applications to correspond to the Town’s fiscal year (January – December).” CARRIED
