  1. CALL TO ORDER – Mayor Screech called the Public Hearing to order at 7:00 p.m.

  3. PUBLIC HEARING

    a) Statement of Public Hearing Procedure

    Mayor Screech made a brief statement regarding the procedures for public hearings.

    b) Statement of Publication of Public Hearing

    The Community Planner advised that the notice which advertised this Public Hearing was posted on the Notice Board at the Municipal Office on March 4, 2020. The Notice was also advertised in two consecutive issues of a newspaper being the Goldstream Gazette on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 and Friday, March 13, 2020 and on the Town’s website on March 4, 2020.

    a) Cannabis Retail Store Rezoning – 1495 Admirals Road – Public Hearing and Zoning Bylaw No. 900, 2014, Amendment Bylaw No. 1041

    1. Report dated March 11, 2020 from the Community Planner

    The Community Planner gave a presentation to Council describing purpose of the Zoning Bylaw amendment which is to allow for a retail cannabis store at 1495 Admirals Road.

    Council and staff discussed hours of operation.
