Good morning,

I would like to address the major traffic concern many residents in our area are voicing. You can see from the picture that every morning we cannot even get off our street of Newcastle Crt. And traffic is backed up Six Mile Road. This is from approving building permits for hundreds of new homes on one access road. I understand Six Mile road is under Ministry of Transportation, however View Royal has approved 300 more condos to be built at Thetis Lake in the near future, in an area where we already have a traffic jam every single day.

I would like to know what will be done to address this, either blocking six mile from southbound highway traffic or a ramp from six mile going southbound to the highway.

There must be some stipulation around the number of homes that can be built on one access road?

Many residents are having a hard time getting to work, school and daily living when it takes 20 minutes to get off Chilco Road, and then another 15 minutes on Six Mile Road.
