I thought you might be interested in this, I started reading at page 12, which talks about the high level of environmental sensitivity in Portage Inlet, and the huge numbers of visiting birds, and importance of the mud flats and estuary. I believe the study was in 1997..... the same municipality wants to build boat launches and increase boating/human activity on the water where fish/birds/wildlife need to live....undisturbed.
