I have reviewed the variance request and talked to the Developer, Wayne Hopkins, in detail about the plans. We have no concerns about the variance request, the only thing we want to ensure is that the road going in on this property be wide enough to allow parking on at least one side. We have been told by Wayne this road will be wide enough to accommodate parking on one side. We do not want the issues we have with Jedburgh Place where their strata has not allowed any parking on that road which means all the extra cars from all the suites and visitors end up parked in front of homes on Jedburgh road. This is not acceptable Jedburgh is not wide enough to accommodate these extra vehicles, and we want to ensure this is looked after for the new development.
