Concerns regarding Development off Jedburgh Road:

1. Road Access to/from both Old Island Highway and Helmcken. a. There is $ in past minutes 2006ish for fixing sight line for residents to be able to see and turn left safely onto Jedburgh, instead of the signage of "do not turn left!" This was an interim solution..... we want the issue to be fixed please! b. Accessing the end of Jedburgh to go onto the Old Island Highway to the West Shore sightline, and accessibility is not easy either, please review access off and onto Jedburgh from the Fire Hall side of Jedburgh as it's not very good. c. Rain water culvert. We flood in November 2015, first time ever in 30 years!!!!!! We do not want to see this happen ever again. With the new subdivision coming in please ensure that the culverts are deep/wide enough, covered to prevent mosquitoes and nature growth, etc. Our access is near the bottom of the culvert which has worked until so with the newer builds the culvert will need to made bigger, deeper, etc. to ensure sufficiency of drainage remains proper for the older homes in addition to the newer homes. d. Parking on the boulevard! Terrible now.... what will it look like with more homes!!!!!! The average house has 4 vehicles +. Jedburgh Place overflow plus Jedburgh Road have many vehicles parked on the boulevard which is against View Royal's rules...... something needs to be done please to eliminate/mitigate this. e. When the subdivision gets built, accessing Bishan Place, there are certain trees that may get cut to make room for foundations, etc. If the Silver Maple gets cut down it will snake to everyone else's yards....... What can be done to mitigate this? We spent a lot of time getting Silver Maples out of our yard! There are other nasty plants that have made it into our yard already!

Thank you for hearing me. I like living in View Royal, it's been good! The challenge and consideration required is that Jedburgh Road was initially built with 30ish homes and probably single resident cars..... Now it's has two roads, plus another road coming, with homes and 4+ vehicles each, so changes, upgrades, ACCESSIBILITY to and fro, etc. need to be reviewed and addressed please.
