Council 2019-02-19 C-029-19 THAT the pedestrian crossing at the Helmcken Road/Watkiss Way Intersection be evaluated following the completion of the McKenzie Interchange project. Staff have discussed with a traffic engineer, the Mackenzie interchange is now Complete from a traffic flow perspective. Review could occur in July but it would be more reliable data once Covid issues have been resolved as traffic is not currently typical with so many people still working from home. The cost to review the intersection and implement changes in the signalling would be approximately $6,000 if the Town chose to do the work.
Council 2019-05-07 C-072-19 THAT the Town write to the Lax Kw’alaams Band (formerly the Port Simpson Band) to determine whether the Lax Kw’alaams Band would like the totem pole located at Portage Inlet Linear Connector Park to be refurbished or remain as is. 1. Environmental impacts and mitigation measures including steep slope and interface fire hazard management be implemented in accordance with Development Permit No. 2019/02.
2. Landscape planting and irrigation is to be installed in accordance with current BCSLA/BCNTA standards.
3. A security deposit for hard and soft landscaping is required prior to building permit issuance.
4. The security deposit of $50,000 provided in Development Permit No. 2019/02 to address any unsafe conditions or damage to the natural environment apply to works authorized in this development permit.

6.provision of a newspaper notice of Council and Committee of the

Council 2021-06-15 C-71-21 THAT Development Permit No. 2021/08 for 1910/1920 West Park Lane be approved; AND THAT Development Permit No. 2021/08 include the condition that a covenant be registered with a report from a geotechnical engineer that:
1. Confirms the site is safe for the use intended; and
2. Sets out requirements for periodic inspection of cut slopes and all retaining walls over 1.5m;
AND THAT Development Permit No. 2021/08 include variances to provisions of Zoning Bylaw No. 900, 2014 for the following:
1. Variance to the height of a fence (on top of a retaining wall) in the flanking yard from 1.2m to 6.0m; and
